Provides depot maintenance support to major weapons systems, primarily F-15, C-5, C-130 and Special Operation Forces (SOF) aircraft, through major structural repair, manufacturing, modification, component and special process repair. Applies industrial engineering and production control programs and procedures.

Provides logistics support for depot maintenance repair facilities and provides plant facilities, equipment engineering, calibration, and installation support to the wing's infrastructure. The unit is organized into two squadrons: the Industrial Services Squadron, which manages capital investment-related programs; and the Maintenance Materiel Support Squadron, which is responsible for determining, establishing, maintaining, forecasting, and transporting inventory of consumable and exchangeable materiel required for depot maintenance.

Serves as the single organic source of Mission Critical Computer Resources and Automatic Test Equipment software for all assigned prime systems and equipment and for all echelons of maintenance requiring computer programming skills and assembly level computer programming languages. Designs, develops, and provides new, altered, updated, or modified software and updates/corrects existing avionics items/system software. Provides on-site engineering assistance to identify and correct software deficiencies and provides criteria and documentation for automated equipment. Conducts feasibility studies for the application of automation to the depot maintenance process, and serve as the Automatic Test Systems focal point for the wing.

The approximate 85 aircraft and missiles on display include a B-1, a B-52, an F-15, an F-16, an SR-71, a Marietta, Georgia-built B-29, and a C-123 modified as a sprayer aircraft that was used by the U.S. military as part of its Agent Orange herbicidal warfare program (Operation Ranch Hand) during the Vietnam War.

Robins AFB offers co-op programs in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Acquisition Management, Finance, Information Technology, Production Operations Management and Human Resources. Co-op eligible students attend Georgia College & State University, Macon State College, Mercer University, Georgia Southwestern State University, Wesleyan College, and Middle Georgia College.

John Pope is the Monroe County Extension Coordinator and Agricultural agent, a position he has held since May 1, 1989. He has served in UGA Extension for over thirty-nine years. He worked in Worth and Lamar counties before moving to Monroe County. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1980 and a Master of Science in Agricultural Extension in 1998. He has received numerous awards over the course of his career including the Distinguished Service Award by the National Association of County Agricultural Agents organization in 2008. This is the highest award given in Extension, recognizing excellence in educational programming.

Dr. Mann is a Clinical Professor with responsibilities for instructing courses in the Department of Management. He chairs two task forces for the College of Business: Business Engineering, and Accreditation & Assessment. He also serves as the Dean's Representative to two committees: the College of Business Assurance of Learning Committee, and the University Assessment Committee. Prior to assuming his current position, Dr. Mann was an active duty Air Force officer responsible to the Clemson University president and the Air Force ROTC Commander for recruiting, training and educating Air Force officer candidates. He was the senior military officer on campus with dual responsibilities as Detachment Commander and Chair of the Department of Aerospace Studies. He is a Senior Pilot with more than 2,800 flight hours (including more than 300 combat/combat-support flight hours) in five different aircraft. Upon his retirement from the Air Force in the summer of 2017, Col Mann had served more than 26 years on active duty and commanded organizations with as many as 2,000 military and civilian personnel. After completing undergraduate pilot training at Laughlin AFB, Texas, Colonel Mann was assigned to Robins AFB, Georgia, as a Boeing KC-135R Pilot where he flew numerous missions in support of Operations DENY FLIGHT, DELIBERATE FORCE, PROVIDE COMFORT, and NORTHERN WATCH. In 1996, he was one of only 50 officers selected nationwide to attend the Air Force Intern Program at the Pentagon, Washington DC, where he held positions on the Air Staff and the staff of the Secretary of Defense. In 1998, he was assigned to McConnell AFB, Kansas, where he flew missions in support of Operation ALLIED FORCE and served as a flight commander, executive officer, and KC-135R evaluator pilot. In 2001, he was selected for Air Mobility Command's Phoenix REACH program and was assigned to Charleston AFB as a C-17A instructor pilot and Chief, Wing Operations Plans, where he flew combat sorties in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM. In 2003, he was assigned to Scott AFB, Illinois, as the Assistant Executive Officer to the Commander, Air Mobility Command. In 2004, he began Ph.D. studies at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, until his assignment to Charleston AFB as Director of Operations, 14th Airlift Squadron and, later, Commander, 16th Airlift Squadron. He was selected as an Air Force Technical Fellow to Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2010 and also served as the AFIT Dean of Students and Senior Professor from 2011 to 2012. As the AFIT Dean of Students, Colonel Mann was responsible for more than 3,500 graduate students, a staff of 40, and a budget of more than $56 million. In 2012, he assumed duties as the Vice Wing Commander (and, later, interim Wing Commander) at Grand Forks AFB ND until arriving at Clemson University in 2014.

Malachi said that after he completes the drafting program, he hopes to continue his education and expand his knowledge. But he knows his time here will give him the skills he needs to help him follow his ambitions.

The Special Government Employee (SGE) Program was established to allow industry employees to work alongside OSHA, particularly during Voluntary Protection Programs' (VPP) On-Site evaluations. Not only does this innovative program benefit OSHA by supplementing its on-site evaluation teams, but it gives industry and government an opportunity to work together and share views and ideas. From time to time, SGEs may also have the opportunity to participate in other OSHA outreach and compliance assistance activities.

Qualified volunteers from VPP sites are eligible to participate in the SGE program. These volunteers must be approved by OSHA and funded by their companies to participate. After submitting an application and completing the required training, these volunteers are sworn in as SGEs and are approved to assist OSHA. 2b1af7f3a8
